He has over 30 years of experience in companies in the financial sector, telecommunications, software, information technology, transportation and mobility.

Juan Carlos showed that in the 21st century companies, to be competitive, must be more agile and base their strategy, structure, business model and management model on innovation, knowledge and new digital technologies.

Juan Carlos is an Electronic Engineer from the U.P.B of Medellin, with studies of Specialization in Information Systems and Management Systems in Engineering; Master in Business Administration (MBA), from INALDE Business School; Master in Strategic Management of Information System from the University of Leon; Senior Management Program (program for company presidents), from INALDE Business School; Master in Business Management from INALDE Business School; PhD in Business Administration from Atlantic International University and Master in Digital Transformation from the University of Barcelona. He is married, has four children and 7 grandchildren, enjoys ecotourism, early morning walks and swimming.
